Montel Williams
The Montel Williams Show, the daily, one-hour, nationally syndicated talk show starring Emmy Award-winner Montel Williams, has now entered its 14th season. Previously, both the show and host Montel Williams have been honored with Daytime Emmy Nominations for "Outstanding Talk Show Host" and "Outstanding Talk Show."

With his passionate and provocative approach, Mr. Williams has carved a special niche for himself in the daytime talk arena, where he is committed to making a difference by getting involved with the people and issues he cares about deeply and tackling problems first-hand.

As an advocate for change, The Montel Williams Show has featured interviews with influential politicians, experts, and ordinary people dealing with extraordinary circumstances. The show tackles social problems head on, addressing domestic abuse, the welfare and foster care systems, and many issues affecting our youth. Mr. Williams is committed to helping our nation's children and young adults who have been victims of violence. For example, this past season, The Montel Williams Show counseled a young man who was brutally beaten by several of his friends who were under the influence of drugs. Mr. Williams helped the teenager deal with the aftermath of his ordeal and provided valuable advice on how to cope with his pain and move on with his life.

The Montel Williams Show also spoke with guests who were committed to changing their lives in positive ways. One couple whose marriage had gotten off to a rocky start sought his advice in order to save their relationship. At the end of the show, the two agreed to go home and try to work out their problems in order to get their lives back on track. The Montel Williams Show also helped build bridges between parents and children whose relationships had deteriorated over the past several years.

During the 9/11 tragedy, Mr. Williams rallied his staff together and traveled to Ground Zero, where he profiled the stories of some of our nation's heroes. He supported New York's Finest and Bravest and aided victims by helping them find missing loved ones. As a New Yorker and a talk show host, he was able to unite people around the country through the stories of those living in New York City during this trying time. The show's After-Care Program continues to demonstrate Mr. Williams' compassion and ability to empower people by successfully arranging for many guests to receive psychological counseling, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and treatment for eating disorders.

This season, viewers can expect The Montel Williams Show to continue to address relevant issues and important news stories and revisit former guests who will discuss the changes in their lives since their appearance on the program. Most importantly, The Montel Williams Show will continue to persevere in its mission of empowering and motivating viewers to actively find solutions to their problems. The Montel Williams Show is a Mountain Movers production in association with Paramount Domestic Television. Montel Williams and Diane Rappoport are executive producers. Paramount Worldwide Television Distribution is part of the Viacom Entertainment Group, a unit of Viacom Inc.
