Pop: Britney Spears Opens Up, But Not Totally
NEW YORK
Britney Spears admits she used to be "a pretty cool chick" but she isn't any more. In the MTV documentary "Britney: For The Record," Spears says she let "bad people" into her life because she was lonely and she really paid the consequences for that. She says she's angry she let people take advantage of her, and angry at those people who did that to her. She doesn't think the head-shaving incident was that big of a deal, though. She says, "People shave their heads all the time," and it was just an act of rebellion for her. The documentary did not mention her time in rehab or why she went out in public without underwear. For those who thought the documentary did not go far enough, Spears says, "I'll have a good book someday."
