April Wiley has more questions than answers about what happened to put her 7-month old son Joseph in the hopital with a fractured skull and ribs. He's being treated at Women and Children's.
"I just want to know who hurt my baby," Wiley said.
Last Thursday, Wiley says she received a phone call as she was getting off work informing her that Joseph was sick. When she got home she said the baby was groggy and covered in bruises.
"By the time we got him to the emergency room his eyes were still rolled back into his head," Wiley said. "He was shaking and when I handed him to the nurse he was having a seizure."
Wiley says Joseph's father was watching the infant. She also says three other people were at the trailer and that they were all drinking alcohol.
The Kanawha County Sheriff's department is investigating and says it could a case of child abuse. However, they declined to release any details and will not say if there are any suspects or if arrests are imminent.
