The family of a dead Iraq war veteran who died in his sleep in February is suing his insurance company after it refused to pay his life insurance.
Andrew White purchased the $50,000 policy from AIG in 2006. His family says Andrew bought the policy in because of the death of his brother in 2005. His brother was killed in action while serving in the Army in Afghanistan. The lawsuit maintains AIG denied the claim for frivolous reasons.
AIG declined to comment because of the pending litigation.
