After we focused on Kanawha County schools last week, health inspectors had a lot of restaurants for us to check out. Here's what you need to keep your family safe in this morning's Behind the Kitchen Door.

We start this week at the Cracker Barrell over at 5720 MacCorkle in Kanawha City.

Inspectors found 11 violations violations including 2 critical.

There were two unlabled spray bottles and the dishwasher didn't have any sanitizer

The microwave, hood and mixer stand were all dirty, the wiping cloth bucket didn't have any sanitizer and the wiping cloth itself was not stored in the bucket.

Next up, the Sitar of India at 702 Lee Street in Downtown Charleston. Inspectors found 10 violations, inlcuding 2 critical. The microwave and hood filters were dirty-so was the can opener, the floor and the shelves in the walk in. Inspectors also found uncovered food in the cooler.

The Hibachi at Trace Fork (48 RHL Blvd, South Charleston) had 9 violations, inlcuding one critical. There wasn't a date marked on the ginger dressing. There was a dispenser bowl stored in the chicken base and there was mildew growing on the wall near the dishwasher.

Finally we go to Famous Daves in Southridge (250 Mountaineer Blvd South Charleston). Inspectors found 7 violations, two critical. There were pans with gross food residue in clean storage and an employee had drinks stored on a shelf above the clean dish table. There wasn't any cold water at two different hand sinks and a problem where the wall and back door meet.

We do have some great news to report. We're coming to you from out here at Steve Thaxton's restaurant because they received a perfect score from Jackson County inspectors. There were actually a bunch of perfect scores this week. Aladdin's in Kanawha City, Sahara's, Cilantro's and the Blossom Deli in downtown Charleston were perfect. The Shoney's on Kanawha Blvd and First Watch in Charleston weren't perfect, but they had good reports. Congratulations to all of you. Don't forget, you can get your first look at Behind the Kitchen Door Thursday on Eyewitness News This Morning. I'm Patrick McMurtry, I'll see you then.
