An old flame is rekindled with the recent arrival of Melissa Bedford and the two find themselves trying to recreate the love they once shared.Mr. Martinez became popular with Daytime television viewers when he starred on "Santa Barbara" as Cruz Castillo, opposite Marcy Walker's (Liza Colby, "All My Children") Eden, for six years. Most recently he played explosives expert Nick Cooper on the popular television thriller, "Profiler." His impressive list of feature film credits includes "She Devil" (with Meryl Streep) and "Pow Wow Highway," among others. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, the versatile performer has just completed his first album, titled "Fragrance and Thom." Not only supplying soulful vocals, Mr. Martinez also wrote all the lyrics and music for the album, a taste of blues and gospel with splashes of Spanish, classical guitar. Mr. Martinez has also appeared on stage at the Mark Taper Forum, where he starred in the musical "Bandido!," as Tiburcio Vasez, a real-life bandit whose family was among the original settlers of San Francisco.
